I have lost quite a bit of my golf equipment due to minor fits of anger in which I toss my golfing equipment into the water hazards on the course. I think the cure for this is finding equipment that floats.

Do I purchase clubs first and then get fitted or the other way around? How do I get a handicap? Which is better USGA or NCGA?
