Golf – What is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)?

I’m in the market to buy new golf clubs and I came across GolfWholesale18.com They offer really cheap prices on high quality equipment. I asked them if their clubs were clones and all they would say is that all of their products are OEM. If I buy a PING driver, am I going to get a cheap knock-off version or the real thing?

  1. OEM means it came from the original manufacturer. But in this case, if someone is going to sell you counterfeit clubs, you think they have any problem lying to you about it?

  2. ping is an OEM, so you are getting the real thing. if it was a ting driver but the widget company, that would be a knock off.
