Retailers have accounts with suppliers (wholesalers) such as Callaway, Mizuno, Taylor Made, Ping, etc. The retailer has an outside sales rep and an inside sales rep assigned to their account (these reps work in specific territories) and they place their orders through them. Those reps also service the account by conducting monthly inventory counts of their products and ordering what is know as "filler" to replenish what has been sold.

first off, i know nothing about golf. however, i run a little gift shop. i get my stuff from "market"…. its 3 buildings with about 18 floors and tons of vendors. here is the website (you must have a tax id number to buy from any vendor there. but you can check it out http://www.americasmart.com
