  1. Well I’m a beginner so not much. I bought used Adams Tight Lies woods with Precision irons and an ancient relic of a putter for about 175 bucks from my local pro shop. I need shoes so that’s prolly 75 to 100 bucks as well. I’m shocked at some of the higher priced brand name clubs and equipment.

    $28/34 weekday/end greens fee.
    $10 Twilight Greens fee.
    Sometimes a $5 pull cart.
    Rarely a $20 Cart.

$20 for my very first scramble tourney tomorrow!!!

I could see spending a few hundo every year as I get better though.

  2. $0

  3. I don’t spend any money on golf equipment. If I want to spend a bunch of money and get pissed off in the process I’ll take my wife shopping so I have no reason to take up golf.

  4. If you really want a good deal, just go to the golf store naked. This always works for me.

  5. not much more than $100. maybe one new club a year for the most part. if you add in clothes and green fees it gets a little ridiculous.

  6. Zero, zip, zilch, nada.

  7. okay, if you include new golf shoes, then around $300 a year

  8. average 50 per club, 2 clubs so 100, I know where to get balls cheap at 100 balls for $10, gloves, add in everything else…
I’d say around 150 for good equipment, slowly improving whats in my bag.

  9. Too much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! new irons =750 new shoes=130 plus 22 about every other day for greens fees i played like 20 rounds already this season. plus 80 a week for sunday morning lesson. its quite the obsession

  10. If you include apparel, somewhere between $300-$1000. Scary…but I work hard for my $$$ and I love the sport so to me, it’s definitely money well spent!
