I think you are asking about endorsements, not SALARIES. When you get a product endorsement, the amount of money that you make it determined by several factors including your standings, wins, TV appearances, live endorsements, commercials (print, internet and TV), etc. It also depends on the equipment that you use. For example, lots of players have Titleist ball endorsements, but play other clubs (Taylormade, Ping, etc.), while others play Titleist clubs. So, if you win playing just the Titleist ball, you'll get some endorsement money from Titleist, but if you were playing their clubs as well, you'll make a lot more money. This is because of the brand association and the fact that they can use your win in their various promotions ans and advertising.
Endorsement money varies. I read a while ago that Nike pays endorsers the most, but their players wear Nike clothing in addition to playing the clubs so it probably adds $$$ to their deal.
I don't know their accuracy, but here are some figures (about is per yr.) that I have read:
- Tiger – $40m per yr. from Nike
- Davis Love III – about $5m from Titleist
- O'Meara – about $1.5m from Titleist
- Vijay Singh – $6-8m from Cleveland
- Mickelson – $10m+ from Callaway
- Lucas Glover – $1.5-2m from Nike
- David Duval – $5-6m from Nike
- Ernie Els – $6-8m from Callaway
