What’s your favorite company to purchase golf club building equipment from?

There are several companies and I’m wondering what your experience has been with different companies. Thanks

  1. Mangine77,

I buy most of the stuff I use from Golfsmith. I have also used Golfworks, Hireko, and TWGT. There are many to choose from but I have gotten the best service from Golfsmith.

The name brand clubmakers will not sell components or tools so you can forget about PING, Titleist, Taylor-Made… They will not sell their components to the general public or anyone else for that matter. You can only obtain completed clubs from them.

    Hope this helps,

    J

  2. I use golfsmith.com
They have not let me down yet…

  3. I have purchased off of TGW.com or the golf warehouse. Have had no problems with them at all. Their site is easily navigable and helpful.

  4. i’ve had good experiences with all the big names: ping, titleist, callaway, etc… They all repair or replace clubs with defects for free.

  5. I buy my clubs from Roger Dunn. I love their 90 day play and trade policy.

  6. Maltby Golfworks. Great service, extensive line of components as well as tools, offer advice on repairs, fitting etc.

  7. GolfSmith and Maltby’s Golfworks (now actually owned by Golf Galaxy which is in turned owned by Dick’s Sporting Goods). I’ve bought equipment from them for the last fifteen years. Both are very good.
