Where Would Nike Golf Be Without Tiger?

Nike makes good golf products but i dont think Nike would have been accepted by the golf community had they not sponsored Tiger woods. Since Nike was a shoe company 1st, many old school golfers would not be caught dead with Nike Golf equipment but when I went to the range yesterday, many people were using Nike Golf equipment.
Nike Golf wouldn’t exist without Tiger. They rely on him to promote all of Nike Golf. Without him they would be nothing.
Same was true of Callaway 20 years ago. A "real" golfer wouldn’t be caught dead in those days with their ugly a** irons or monstrously big headed drivers. But things change, and the companies that remain relevant succeed. Take a look at Macgregor, who not so many years ago had the #1 golfer in the world (Greg Norman) and has now been beaten down to a Golfsmith only house brand. So the brands have to be bigger than a player, and Nike has done a nice job of making products recently for a variety of skill levels
Nike Golf would not exist if it wasnt for Tiger. And I completely disagree with your statement that Nike makes good golf equipment. I have never hit a Nike club that I like the feel of.
